I love wood working. I have a lot of tools for it. I am not very good, but I have been hooked since I was in high school in wood shop class. I haven't been doing it for a while, because it does cost money, but I do when I can.

Bit late but when you look at the direction of the existing rafters assume to install swings or most material perpendicular to get a better bite. Swings should be mounted into more than one joist/ rafter whichever way it swings. Either double up the rafter you plan on mounting to or change direction to span the load better. And please use heavy duty rubbers! Love this channel too toonz ❤ Glad you mentioned it
